  • Professional Jewellers' Diploma (PJ(Dip)Dist) - Examined by the Board of Examiners in the knowledge and practice of the Jeweller.
  • Professional Jewellers' Gemstone Diploma (PJ(Gem)Dip(Dist)) - Examined by the Board of Examiners in the theory, practice and identification of Gemstones.
  • Professional Jewellers' Valuation Diploma (PJ(Val)Dip) - Examined by the Board of Examiners in the knowledge and practice of Jewellery Valuation
  • Fellowship of the National Association of Goldsmiths (FNAG) - Certified as a Fellow of the National Association of Goldsmiths

Crown Jewellers offer an 'On-Site' Jewellery Valuation Service which is important for a number of reasons. Whether for Insurance or Probate, there seems to be growing confidence in tangible products such as gold & diamonds. Unlike many areas of the economy, investors appear to be turning away from stocks & shares, property portfolios and dwindling private resources in favour of high-quality Jewellery pieces (especially following recent record Gold prices).

Crown Jewellers believe that many people will be pleasantly surprised with the value of their Jewellery, particularly diamonds and period items. However, it is important to maintain up-to-date valuations (normally every 2-3 years) for Jewellery.
